Looking for a super bowl charcuterie board with a little something extra? Think folded salami footballs, rows of cheese and plenty of snacks for dipping.
These ideas include classic meat-and-cheese boards plus appetizer platters and sweet spreads for your game-day table.
You can keep it simple or go all out. Start with a favorite snack, then decide whether you want little football details or a whole snack stadium!
Game-day boards and snack ideas worth saving
salami football and cheese laces
We’re starting off strong with this folded salami football. I love the little cheese laces and the tiny goalpost in the round spread beside it.
Grapes, berries, pistachios and tall bread twists fill out the board. Try keeping your football near the front like this so it doesn’t get hidden behind the other snacks.

wings and pigs in a blanket
If you’d rather have wings than rows of cheese, this one is for you. Browned chicken wings sit beside pigs in a blanket, with waffle fries piled toward the back.
Set your dips along the back edge to follow this layout. The pale dip with chopped green garnish looks so pretty beside the red and green dips.
big pretzels and colorful dips
How good do those big pretzels look? They run down the middle of this board between cucumber pieces, chips and bowls of dip.
I especially love the groups of carrots, celery and snap peas near the top. Keep your vegetables in little groups if you want to try the same colorful arrangement.
sliders on a round tray
This is one of my favorite ideas if you want sandwiches on your snack table. The glossy slider buns take up the middle of the tray, with vegetables on one side and grapes on the other.
Those football-shaped treats along the front are such a cute finishing touch. You could use decorated football cookies for your own version.
football centerpiece with pretzel crisps
Don’t want to fill your board with lots of different foods? No problem!
This one keeps the attention on a football-shaped centerpiece with a chopped coating and broad white laces.
Pretzel crisps and pale triangular crackers fill the space around it. I’d keep that simple two-snack border if you’re borrowing the layout.
a football surrounded by greens
I am obsessed with the green border on this board. Lime wedges, sliced jalapeños and leafy greens surround a golden-brown football-shaped center with white laces.
The little bowls sit at opposite corners rather than covering the football. That’s a lovely detail to borrow for your own arrangement.
pigs in a blanket ring
How cute is this? Little pigs in a blanket surround a white bowl as yellow dip is poured into the center.
The scattered seeds on the pastry tops give them a pretty finishing detail.
Try this circular arrangement when you want a separate appetizer platter beside your main board.
chocolate and cookie board
Calling all chocolate fans, this board gives you plenty to choose from. There are sandwich cookies, chocolate squares, chocolate-topped biscuits and striped wafer rolls.
I love the strawberries tucked beside the bowl of chocolate spread. You don’t need football shapes on every tray, especially with a sweet selection like this.
chips and a rainbow of dips
Can’t choose just one dip? This round tray makes room for several, with green, red and darker chunky dips surrounded by yellow and blue-purple tortilla chips.

The avocado halves and lime wedges are so pretty between the bowls. Try mixing two chip colors if you want to follow this look.
a football-shaped cheese board
This salami football may just be my favorite one so far. I love how the rows of cheese slices and round crackers follow the outline of the tray.
Bowls of pecans sit on either side of the folded meat. Add a few football picks to your own board if you want another little game-day detail.
fruit and tiny goalposts
There’s so much to love here, from the flower-cut strawberries to the tiny yellow goalposts. The salami football sits in its own dish among sliced cheese, grapes and blueberries.
I especially like the orange slices along the edge. They bring in another bright color without taking attention away from the middle.
cracker football with pepper laces
The cracker fans are going to love this! Instead of folded meat, overlapping crackers form the big football in the center.
Red pepper strips make the laces, with asparagus marking the ends.
Keep the surrounding fruit and vegetables green if you want the same look. Cucumber, celery, kiwi and grapes all appear around this one.
little loaded tortilla scoops
How adorable are these little taco bites? The tortilla scoops hold browned crumbles, shredded cheese, lettuce and red salsa, with white dollops on several of the tops.
You could serve a plate of these beside your cheese and crackers for another savory option. Leave a little space between them like this so those pretty toppings can show.

a whole snack stadium
If you want to go all out, then this one is for you. Rows of vegetables, fruit, meat and cheese line both sides of a miniature football field. Cupcakes sit right on the field!

The red goalposts are my favorite part. For a smaller version, you could borrow the field runner and put a snack tray on each side.
fries wings and onion rings
Why choose between crinkle-cut fries and waffle fries? This board has both, plus onion rings, wings, pretzels and vegetables.
I love the little football picks dotted through the food. Place your dip bowls first if you’re trying a similar spread, then arrange the snacks around them.
round boards with salami roses
Don’t want football decorations on every board? These round meat-and-cheese arrangements are a pretty alternative.
I love the salami roses and the fans of pale cheese.
Several boards also have flowers tucked between the food. For your own version, use only verified food-safe edible flowers or leave them off and keep the folded-meat details.
bread borders and four dips
This is such a fun alternative to separate dip bowls. Golden rolls outline the tray and divide the middle into four sections, each with a different-looking dip and garnish.
The chopped green toppings and white drizzle look especially pretty against the orange sections. Try using rows of rolls to divide four of your favorite dips for your own spread.
jalapeño football bites
I am obsessed with these little football details. Filled jalapeño halves have golden cheese tops, reddish crumbles and thick white lines shaped into laces.
The peppers sit in a single row down the tray. Keep that arrangement if you want each little football to show.
red and yellow dessert tray
This Chiefs-themed dessert board is so cute. The red number 15 jersey cookie, helmet-topped cupcakes and yellow candies bring the team colors all across the tray.
I love the chocolate-covered football treats along the side. You could switch the icing and candy colors to suit the team you’re cheering for.
cheese letters and football picks
Last but definitely not least, we have this packed round board with cheese letters laid across folded meat. I love the star-shaped cheese pieces and the little football picks!
Grapes, olives, berries and pistachios fill the gaps. For your own version, try spelling out a short team name in cheese so there’s still plenty of room for the snacks.
