Check your school’s dress code before choosing your favorite.
Homecoming dresses worth saving
mint green and a big bow
We’re starting off strong with this super cute mint dress. I love the little white beads along the strapless neckline, but that oversized bow is my favorite part.
Keep your accessories small if you want the bow and flared skirt to be the main details. Little stud earrings would look lovely here.
navy cascading ruffles
Want something a little different from a straight mini hem? This navy dress has rows of ruffles running down an angled skirt, with one side falling much longer than the other.
The ruffled neckline is so pretty too. I’d pair this one with simple silver-tone earrings.
a simple dark flared dress
Don’t want to go all out with sparkle? No problem!
This dark dress keeps things simple with a square neckline, wide straps and a full short skirt.
The white shoulder bag and gold-tone pendant are cute together. Save this combination if you like home coming dresses with just a few accessories.
black ruffles and colorful heels
How cute is this? The black dress has ruffles at the shoulders and tiers all the way down the skirt.
There’s plenty going on without adding any extra decoration.
Try colorful ankle-strap heels like the ones here if you want a little color with your black dress.
navy with all-over sparkle
I am obsessed with this navy dress. The tiny sparkling details cover both the fitted top and the full skirt, with a sheer edge peeking out at the hem.
The narrow straps and curved neckline keep the top pretty simple. I’d leave off a necklace and try small drop earrings instead.
yellow flowers and a full skirt
This yellow dress may just be one of my favorites here. I love the pale floral details trailing from the top onto the flared skirt.
The thin straps and deep V-shaped neckline add a different detail up top. Follow the pictured pairing with pale ankle-strap shoes if you want to keep the focus on yellow.

burgundy bell sleeves and boots
Who says you have to choose a sleeveless dress? This burgundy mini has sheer floral-patterned sleeves that flare at the wrists.
The matching tall boots and shoulder bag are so cute together.
Try the layered gold-tone necklaces too if you like a little jewelry around the curved neckline.
shiny pink pleats
If you are looking for lots of pretty details, then this one is for you. There are shiny pink pleats, two skirt tiers and sparkling trim along the straps and around the bust cups.
I love the silver-colored shoes with this dress. Their sparkling straps pick up the decoration at the top.
pale pink with scattered sparkle
This is another pink idea, but it’s a little different from the one above. The fitted mini has a square neckline and scattered reflective decorations over its pale pink and white coloring.
The little white bag is adorable. Keep a small bag like this if you don’t want to add another color.
white one-shoulder ruffle
If you’re looking for a dress without lots of little embellishments, go with this white mini. The large ruffle runs across the neckline and over one shoulder.

That’s the detail I’d leave on its own. A bracelet would be a pretty addition without covering the neckline.
emerald green and a longer skirt
I am in love with this green! The strapless dress has a fitted waist and a full skirt falling below the knees.
You don’t need a short hem to make your homecoming outfit feel dressed up.
Try pale ankle-strap heels like the ones shown, or choose gold-colored flats for your own version.
pale blue and yellow flowers
Looking for a floral hoco dress that isn’t pink? This pale blue dress has yellow flowers and green leaves all over it.
The strapless neckline and flared skirt let that print do most of the work.

I’d choose small earrings and leave the neckline bare for this one.
a shoulder full of flowers
How gorgeous are these flower details? This close-up shows pink, purple and pale yellow blooms running up the shoulder and across a cream-colored bodice.
The gathered lines across the front are just as pretty. Save this for the neckline inspiration if you want flowers that stand out from the dress rather than a flat print.
pink floral print and a ruffled hem
I love this pink floral mini with its little flared hem. The strapless top and gathered middle keep the shape different from the fuller floral dress above.
The pink roses look lovely beside the print. If you’re carrying flowers for pictures, try picking out one shade from your dress.
pale pink flower details
This is such a pretty way to wear pink without a bold print. Little raised flowers cover the dress, with more decoration around the sweetheart neckline and softly scalloped hem.
The small pendant is a sweet finishing touch. I’d keep the jewelry just as delicate for this look.
pink flowers and sparkling lines
Can’t decide between flowers and sparkle? This pink mini has both.
Darker pink floral shapes sit between fine reflective lines, with narrow straps above a V-shaped neckline.

I especially love the pink-on-pink combination. You could carry a plain pale pink bag rather than adding another pattern.
rose pink and orchid accessories
If you want to go all out with flowers, there’s plenty of inspiration in this collage. The long rose-pink dress has a printed design and cascading ruffles, paired with flower earrings, floral shoes and an orchid-shaped bag.

You don’t have to use every accessory. I’d choose the orchid bag as the extra detail to keep.
magenta and teal sparkle
The sparkle fans are going to love these! The magenta dress has flower shapes and a pointed scalloped hem, while the teal one has zigzag lines and dangling fringe.
Both are paired with earrings in matching colors. Pick your favorite shade first, then decide which pattern you like more.
bright blue and gold-tone feathers
Looking for a rio themed hoco dress idea? This collage pairs a bright blue dress with gold-tone feather-shaped jewelry, stacked bangles and feather-decorated shoes.
I love the sparkling curved lines on the dress. Try the pictured updo if you want to show off long earrings, or skip the sheer gloves for a simpler version.
bright pink sparkling fringe
Last but definitely not least, we have this bright pink fringe dress. I am obsessed with the sparkling lines running down the top and into the long strands around the skirt.

The bracelets add another little bit of shine. Keep your shoes simple if you want the pink fringe to be your favorite detail too.
